Men of war
How courageous are them? Men defending their nation...
While some of us are dying in wars of our own creation.
I pity the soldiers who died in vain,
But I who survived am going insane,
I dream nightly of bloodshed
How much can I take?
Out of my nightmares in a cold sweet I awake!
I am finding it hard
To think clearly at all;
To defend myself from pain I've built me a wall.
Behind this wall I hide the real me,
The hunted coward no one can see...
I'm frightened, confused, so very alone,
This war is unbearable even at home!
In exasperation I'm beginning to find
Theres nothing I can do to ease my mind.
My insides are burs
